On Thursday, 14 September 2023, the 64th General Assembly of Weisse Arena AG took place in the hangar at Crap Sogn Gion. CEO Markus Wolf, CFO Romano de Giorgi and Chairman of the Board, Reto Gurtner, provided insights into the 2022/23 financial year. Over 600 shareholders, members of the Board of Directors and representatives of the media were present.
The Weisse Arena AG can look back on an eventful business year. After two summer seasons of superlatives, the summer business has settled back into a pre-pandemic reality. This was followed by the winter with the least snow since measurements began, which is why the challenges were at a maximum. Net sales remained at a high level of CHF 120.6 million. The cost side, however, developed unpleasantly. Thanks to real estate transactions, the Weisse Arena AG nevertheless achieved a pleasing EBITDA of CHF 28 million.
