Weisse Arena Bergbahnen AG
ropeways, Pistes, Rescue
With 66 permanent employees and around 143 seasonal employees in winter, Weisse Arena Bergbahnen AG operates and maintains a total of 28 lift facilities with a transport capacity of 44,190 people per hour. Its responsibilities also include snowmaking and preparation of the 60 pistes as well as shaping the parks and pipes. The mountain ropeways also provide rescue services, maintain the entire infrastructure and sell lift tickets.
Weisse Arena Hospitality AG
Hotels, Restaurants, Bars
Over 30 restaurants and 6 hotels on the mountain and in the valley belong to Weisse Arena Hospitality AG. From cozy cafés to exclusive gourmet restaurants, the Weisse Arena Hospitality AG inspires with its great culinary diversity. With its 6 hotels it manages over 1,400 beds. In the winter season, around 500 employees work at the Weisse Arena Hospitality AG.
Weisse Arena Leisure AG
At three locations in the valley and two on the mountain, Weisse Arena Leisure AG operates a total of 7 rental stations and shops with 45 employees. For more service and comfort, a total of 2,132 seasonal depots for winter sports equipment are available to our guests at the three valley stations in Flims, Laax and Falera. A large part of the staff also takes care of the mountainbiking infrastructures in summer.
Mountain Adventures AG
LAAX School, Freestyle Academy
The LAAX School is operated by the Mountain Adventures AG. With around 340 ski instructors and 92 snowboard instructors, the LAAX School is the largest snow sports school in the entire Alpine region. There are also around 15 bike guides in summer.
In recent years, Mountain Adventures AG has consistently developed new products for the strategically important target groups of the Weisse Arena Gruppe. The successful concept “Ami Sabi in Snow Wonderland” for children’s lessons was developed in collaboration with the singer-songwriter and children’s book author Linard Bardill. Since December 2010, the Freestyle Academy has been a unique product for young freestylers and families with a passion for sports. In addition, Mountain Adventures AG is responsible for the organization and realization of national and international freestyle events.
Mountain Vision AG
Marketing, IT, Finances, Human Resources
As a management company, Mountain Vision AG provides services for all operating companies of the Weisse Arena Gruppe and partly also for external companies. With 60 employees, the areas of sales and reservations, guest care, marketing and communication, human resources, accounting, environmental management and administration are covered.
LAAX Homes AG
Weisse Arena Gruppe holds 70% of LAAX Homes AG
LAAX Homes AG works together with vacation home owners to manage their vacation homes efficiently and maintain their value. At the same time, the owners are relieved of the burden of rental administration and maintenance of their apartment. The focus is on working together as partners to meet the wishes of the vacation home owners. Together with them, LAAX Homes pursues the same goal as a reliable local partner: to increase the probability of booking their vacation home and its rental income.
Construction Company ROCKSRESORT
Weisse Arena Gruppe holds 61.6% of the construction company rocksresort
The construction company rocksresort was founded for the construction of the rocksresort. The rocksresort, a member of Design Hotels™, fascinates with its architecture and design concept, which has won several awards. Nine cubic buildings made of solid Vals quartzite house 143 stylish and comfortably furnished 4-, 6- and 8-bed apartments. They are available either for rent or purchase.
