On Friday, December 20, 2024, the FlemXpress will start regular lift operations, including its two new sections. These have been successfully approved by the Federal Office of Transport (FOT) and the operating license has been issued. It will be possible to test the new sections from Startgels to Segnes and on to Nagens Sura from Friday, December 13 to Thursday, December 19, 2024.
Pedestrians who do not have a season pass or similar can purchase a pedestrian ticket for the outward and return journey for CHF 10 via the LAAX app or at the ticket office. As these are test rides, the journey may take a little longer than usual. Skiers and snowboarders can already use the lift, but only the slopes from Startgels or Nagens Sura are currently open. Afterwards, guests can give their feedback on the ride on site.
