In January 2022, the World Ski Awards will once again be presented and LAAX has been nominated as “Switzerland’s Best Ski Resort” for the ninth time in a row. LAAX has already won this award a proud six times. LAAX also wins the category “World’s Best Freestyle Resort”. Since the award in the category “World’s Best Freestyle Resort” was presented for the first time in 2016, LAAX has been the undisputed winner. Never before has the award gone to another destination.
With the rocksresort, which is nominated as “World’s Best Green Ski Hotel”, we show that we stand for sustainability just as much as for freestyle, and that green is by no means just something for alternative sandal wearers. LAAX and the rocksresort have already received this award twice. The World Ski Awards are both a jury and audience award and are part of the World Travel Awards, which are considered the “Oscars of the travel industry”. The award ceremony takes place annually in Kitzbühel, Austria.
