The World Ski Awards celebrate their 10th anniversary! Every year they honour the most popular destinations and hotels in the international winter sports industry by jury and public voting. They are also part of the World Travel Awards, which are considered the “Oscars of the travel industry”. LAAX is once again nominated three times.
LAAX also has an anniversary to celebrate in 2022: For the tenth time in a row, we are nominated as “Switzerland’s Best Ski Resort”, out of which we have won six times. In the category “World’s Best Freestyle Resort”, LAAX of course cannot be missing among the nominees, especially since we have been the undisputed winner of this category since its introduction in 2016. Never before has another destination won the award.
The fact that rocksresort was nominated once more in the category “World’s Best Green Ski Hotel” proves that LAAX stands for sustainability as much as for freestyle, and that a “green lifestyle” is by no means just something for alternative thinkers. With last year’s victory, the rocksresort has already received this award three times.

To bring the prestigious awards home in 2022 every vote counts! To vote, simply click on the desired category above and then select LAAX. A login request will appear. If you do not have a login yet, go to “Sign up” at the top right of the website and create one with a few details. An email will follow to verify your address. After verifying, the green button “Vote now” appears. As soon as you click on it, your vote will definitely be registered. If you have already voted last year, you can simply log in again and vote. Voting ends on 7 October 2022.
